Alexander J. Vietmeier is a television director working out of New York. His credits include Fuse TV’s highly rated weekly shows: Top Twenty Countdown and Hip Hop Shop.

He gained his acumen working his way through the ranks in MTV’s control room during the last years of the fast-paced live musical performance extravaganza that was Total Request Live.

Alex is a quick thinker who is always calm and collected, even in the most chaotic of circumstances. He thrives on challenges and nothing excites him more than organizing and managing a crew to create great television. His timing and precision in the director’s chair comes naturally, but he never stops striving to improve and sharpen his skills.

Alex attended Webster University’s School of Communications in St. Louis, MO, and earned his BA in Video Production.

When not in the director’s chair, Alex spends his time working at his multi-media production company, Entertainment Design Online.
